Removal of coil-on-plug connection when replacing sparkplugs

I have become extremely cautious when working with electrical connectors that I have not previously encountered; I have inadvertenlty destroyed several. I would welcome advise on the proceedure to used to discoonect the coil-on-plug connection on the Porsche Boxter and, by-the-way, an Audi A4 that also uses c.o.p.

Thanks!

The connector is covered with a rubber boot. Slide the boot back to expose the connector. Then you will see a little lever on the connector you need to push while at the same time you pull the connector off the coil.
