Why can no one spell 'Boxster'???

Why on these Forums can no one (well at least half of people it seems at time) spell 'Boxster'. I always see it spelled as 'Boxter'. I mean this is a forum for Porsche lovers; can we not spell or do we not know the history of the Box er Roadster ?
Personally I like to just call it the 986.

That publication is from the US as you can tell from the PNA part number. Porsche takes the German technical publications and translates them into English. There is even a disclaimer to this effect on some of them. Inside the booklet the name is correct.

Interesting on the manual.

As far as spelling goes, many are just plain lazy or did not pay much attention in skool. I am truely surprised at some PM's and email I get from some Pelicans. They are pretty bad and give me a poor impression that will precede them if I ever have the opportunity to meet them in person.

It pays to put your best foot forward at all times.

I gave up on correcting people on the Boxter/Boxster thing.

I have started year number 6 with my Boxster. I also gave up years ago.
