One more question
I currently have Pilot Sports on my car, 17". I need to replace them soon and I've read good reviews on tirerack.com about the BF Goodrich T/A KDW 2's, and they're quite a bit less than the Pilot Sports. Anyone have any experience with these on their Boxster? The car is driven summer only, I drive it hard but don't autocross or anything.

If you access WWW.tirerack.com you will see sections that provide technical comparisons. There are also sections where people post their experience with the tires. My two cents, I just purchased a new set of sport pilots to replace the Sumitomo's the cheap ass saddled my 22K mile Boxster with. Tires are very important, I would put money in good rubber over intake/exhaust/ body panel modifications. I can't wait to drive my car with the correct rubber, I'm sure its going to be a fork lift upgrade.

Pilot Sports, Conti-tech SO-2A or SO-3
High end yokohamas work well also. AFJ
