hey, im going to my first autocross this sunday in sunny (and now flipping cold) Tavares, FL with the PCA and i am in need of new brake pads. what brand should i get? ive had the car less than a year, its a 2001 Boxster S, 88950 miles on the clock. thanks a lot!

For AX, stock pads can be fine. you don't mention your AX experience though... Stock pads are nice because they don't require the heat that a dedicated "track pad" likes to be effective.
That said, I put in PF 97s on my Boxster at the beginning of last season for use at DE, AX and street use. I thought they were better than stock, even in a cold AAX environment, but then again, they were VERY expensive (About $500 to do the whole car) Stock pads are cheaper ![]() You might try some HAWK HPS pads. I know folks who feel they are better than a "stock" pad but priced fairly. Enjoy your AX!
