Winterizing DONE!!!

Just went through and changed my oil, cleaned the K&N, and winterized the rest!
Feels good to find an excuse to play with the toy.
Now, just need to find winter tires......

Shawn

Its only September.. where are you that "winter" has arrived?

Winterizing refers to getting the car ready for its winter use (or storage). Depending on climate this may mean different things.

Yeah we're just getting into the best time of the year for a Boxster!

Shop around for some used wheels. Original 16" would be best (if you have stock '99 Boxster brakes), but there are a lot of great tires for the 17" wheels. Then just put new tires on the used wheels and swap them out when the time comes. I used Dunlop Wintersport M3s on my Boxster and they were terrific.

Good luck!
