Pelican Parts Forums - replace spark plugs without jack stands..

I use hockey pucks...with a little dremel magic they fit perfectly on my jack stands and I used another puck and cut out the 'oval' shaped opening where the jack stand sits and used a drywall screw and attached it to my customized pick and they fit exctly and provide a rubber cushion between the frame lift point and jack stand. I also cut a slot in one puck so I could jack our 98 986 with the unibody weld running along side the frame so it wouldnt get crushed when I use that to lift the car for easy quick lifts. I then can slide the jackstand in and have 1 whole side of the car up and on stands with one lift they work great. If you'd like I can take digital pics so you can see how I modified them.
