Hi Wayne,
Just ordered the book from Amazon. Really looking forward to it! I just replaced the door lock mechanism. Performed perfect for a couple of weeks. Now, my key fob works remote buttons do lock and unlock the door, but the physical key does not lock or un lock the door! Weird. Any thoughts?
Steve

If you check out the article, you will see there is a plastic piece that connects the door lock mechanism to the actual key cylinder. This plastic piece has a tendency to break - it's probably broken on your car. I would remove the door panel and take a look, you'll probably find this $3 piece of plastic lying in the bottom of your door.
