I had the P0306 (same cylinder) under heavy throttle/higher RPMs. Replaced the coil pack and problem solved. Does the coil look cracked and ugly? Do you get anything under heavy performance?

I hesitate to advise here, because I'm very new to this stuff, but maybe you have more of an oil or fuel problem. Is this old gas?

A while back, I had parked on a sideways slope for a couple weeks, and found the car running very rough and smoking, but that eventually went away, after parking level and driving for around 5 minutes on 4 or 5 separate days. I think oil leaked into a cylinder and had to drain/burn off. I replaced all the sparks after that, and now she running fantastic.

I was sick to my stomach over this until it resolved though (a week or two), so I wish you well here.

Gents: why is the "Pcode behind the CEL" not the P0306 mentioned? What else is going on here that I don't understand??

I have a plug/coil/tube on order. Hoping one of them rectifies it. No issue after the first 30 seconds after start up only when sitting for more than a day
