Help: Key stuck and cannot start

I have 2000 Boxster 2.7. When I dropped off my daughter for a soccer game, the key gets stuck and I was not able to start the car again.

I thought my battery is dead. So I tried to jump start the car. No luck. It feels that the ignition switch is broken again, which I replaced about three months ago.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

harry

Just a thought, try turning the steering wheel left/right while turning the ignition key? Sometimes the wheel "locks" the key from turning.

thanks for your thought. I can turn the key all right. But I cannot pull it out. If I try to start it, it did not click (kind feel the battery is dead).
