service due code
had my race car mechanic do the 60m mile service on my wifes 05 Boxster but he cannot reset the service due code that comes up on start up. is there anyway to reset without going to the dealer?

You need either a Durametric system or the Porsche PIWIS; nothing else will do it................

I had mine reset by another board member who happened to live about 10 miles from me here in south carilona, he had the Durametric tool and was willing to use it to help me out.

If you are going to keep your can and If you are going to do much of your own maintenance, then a Durametric is a MUST. Even if you ONLY use it to reset the maintenance reminder, at around $300 for the enthusiast model, it is way cheaper than going to a dealer
