clunking sound when driving over small bumps

Hello and thanks for your help. I have a 2004 Boxster S manual trans. Whenever I drive over small bumps, I hear a clunk-clunk sound coming from what sounds like the passenger side, underneath the car. It sounds like metal hitting metal. Do you know which part I need to replace?

could be a numbere of things. shock tower could be loose (not too likely but possible), broken bearing in the tower mount, worn bushings in drag links, control arms. etc. just have someone with knowledge take a look and see.

I had a small anoying rattle when travelling slowly on roads with less than a smooth surface at say less than 20kph. It sounded like it was coming from the rear right side.
I recently changed the engine mount and that was the reason for the sound.
Check your engine mount. My vehicle exhibited none of the usual symptoms associated with torn mount, difficult gear change or vibration above 3,000rpm.

Trailing arm here. Took weeks and several people to find it. The arm mounts to right where the bulkhead is and the sound seems to come from down low. If the sound goes away over bumps at acceleration or braking, that's what it is.
