Today my 2005 top stopped working, while opened fully. The switch clearly works because the screen displays that the convertible top is closing when I wiggle it, but NOTHING happens physically. There is no motor noise, nothing. I can't close the top. I pulled the fuse e3 and replaced it with the spare 30 amp fuse, nothing changed, still doesn't work. Help?

The first thing I would check would be the motor in the back. Remove the motor and/or wire up 12 volts to it to see if it's operational. Then, just start backtracking from there if the motor works. You can also check to see if there is 12V getting to the motor when the switch is pressed.

I'm in the process of building a 987 race car and have all of the parts for the top for sale. Let me know if you need anything.
