Unhappy 986 Electrical Issues

Recently purchased a 2001 Boxster S, nice condition with low miles. Have had it on the road a week when I noticed the driver front low beam dimmer than the right, switched both bulbs with H7s, all seemed fine, next day the left front turn indicator not working, rapidly flashing indicator on panel, thinking maybe a relay.
Next the left front headlight not working at all, horn works on odd/even days. All fuses were good. Aside from the obvious trip to the dealer anyone have any thoughts on these issues,

thanks,

Ignition switch is a know weak point and can cause all sorts of wierd problems, from lighting, to audio systems, A/C fan. The part is $15 so no biggie.

There's a good change the connector plug which the headlight slips into has a crack in the mount on the car side of the plug.....pull the headlight and look in the hole at the connector, if its loose or flexes too much then that's the problem, in those cases I'll pull a few of the fenderliner screws and reach up to push the connector into the headlight after the headlight is locked in place.

What is happening is since the connector is flexing out is not letting the plug go in strait....

I've had luck using plasti-weld epoxy on those cracks, just be sure the connector can still float in the mount.
