P0102 possible solution

Posting this so maybe it can help somebody else in the future.

Couple days I was checking the PS fluid. I also decide to clean the air filter while I was there. When I got back in the car it would not start. It acted like it wanted to start, but would just die instantly. Put the scanner on it and it pulled code P0102. So I'm thinking MAF sensor. I tested all the wires for shorts and ground and all was good. I replaced the MAF with a new one and got the same symptoms and code. So under the advice of a Porsche tech I removed the TB and cleaned the ICV. While I was in there I decided to clean everything else. Upon reassembly I was having trouble getting the AOS pipe to the intake plenum installed. Upon closer inspection I noticed both the O-rings were defective. This could in fact cause the car not to start since it introduces a vacuum leak and that is what the car was acting like; it would actually run if you kept the throttle open.

But that is just one of three possibilities. The others are ICV was stuck and I did in fact free it up; and the other is the fact I never did the secret handshake when I installed the MAF.

Hope this perhaps helps somebody in the future.
