My 2001 boxster developed a "turn over/no start" problem. I would drive normal, park for 15 -30 min. and get it to turn over but not start. I waited for about an hour, tried again and it started normally? I developed a routine of letting it sit for at least 45- 60 min. and get a normal start. replaced the fuel pump relay with no fix. next thought fuel pump. Replaced it and again no fix. took it to my porsch dealer. It turned out to be a "intermittent fault in the crank sensor". replaced it, all is well now. that simple fix took a long time to isolate the fix and $800 later. Good work by Strongs Porsche and Kent livingston % the boys in Salt Lake Ciyy.
