Boxster lights blinking after setting alarm

I have a 98 Boxster and when I alarm it, about 15 minutes later the parking lights start blinking. I've seen on other posts that it is because the trunk, frunk or center console are not latched. The thing is, they are. I haven't seen anything on resolving it though.
Is there a contact somewhere that needs to be adjusted that I'm not seeing?
I've waited almost 30 years to have another Porsche and this is getting frustrating.
Same with the radio but that's another topic. Grin.
Thanks.

An update here. It just did it again after sitting almost 8 hours. The horn gave a little meep and the parking lights started flashing again.

Get the vehicle scanned with a Porsche specific tool (PST II, PIWIS, Durametric) and read the last ten alarm system faults, it will tell you what in the system is acting up.

OK so here is the deal... Lights flashing after alarm set is fine. Horn beep indicates something is not closed. In my situation it was the center console.

The center console is latched. There is a metal detent next to the latch in the console. For an experiment I left the console open while locking and no beep after lights flashing twice.
I'll probably have to do like JFP mentioned and have the codes scanned to narrow it down. Now, to find someone with a scanner...

I had the same issue. In my case there was an short or something in the radio. I switched out the radio, and Bingo! no more flashing lights no more false alarms etc. Just a thought
