Convertible Top - Control Levers Wrong?

I've had this Boxster for a few weeks now (first one) and trying to sort out the issues from the PO. The convertible top had most of the parts broke or bent and now all replacement parts have arrived. It had been taken apart by PO and put back together, half way. I'm wondering if these control levers (yellow arrow) are facing the wrong direction? In the photo of drivers side, top is fully closed. Other photos I've seen, the lever faces the other direction and the push rod is on the bottom. I'm guessing, in those photos, the top is fully closed to (since it's not blocking the view). And when I push the "open top" button, it closes and when I push to "close" it opens. I have a feeling, the lever has gone around in it's travels, 180 degrees. And, isn't there a micro switch that will stop the travel once fully open, or closed? And with the red arrows, these to pivots are to close together to attach clam shell. Unless, I didn't try enough angels....
Thanks for any info. Bob

Oh, great diagram. I just see it after finishing my test on it. I disconnected all the arms and ran the lever 180 degrees in their cycle. Reconnected everything and it all works correctly. I still have to remove my finger from the switch to stop everything at the end of the cycle. Micro switches not working?
Thanks for the diagram. Bob
