Small Coolant Leak. Part ID needed!
Hey all,
It's been a while since I've had a Porsche. The last one was a 944 that gave me fits but I loved it dearly ![]() Anyway, I could use some help from the geniuses here on what the heck this part is! ![]() The red box is which part I'm trying to figure out what it is. Seems I've got a drop or two of coolant coming from it's seal. Engine oil is without any water in it so I'm doubting it's a head gasket. What is that little sucker? I lose maybe half a reservoir's worth of water every two or three months from this little leak. I'll continue my search for what it is. Hopefully one of us finds it! Thanks much for your time, Ron |

Ok, I found the part of what it is but it's not very descriptive. Anyone want to enlighten me? I'm order the gasket (99610133650) and the cover is part 99610101600. What does it lead to?
I don't really want to pull it until I have the new gasket but I am extremely curious what on earth this little port leads to! Guessing it's to the transmission side cooling channel. |
