spoiler comes up every time the engine is started

hi
this is my first post.
I haven't found any info on this exact problem.

The spoiler comes up every time the engine is started. It's as if it was raised manually.
The manual switch seems to work ok.

Any ideas what would likely be the cause triggering it to come up on start? Is the manual switch removable?

manual switch and relays ok

fyi, I've done a couple of tests but not found the fault, yet.

with the manual switch disconnected, there's no change in behaviour.
No change in behaviour with relays 3 and 9 swapped over, so it seems unlikely it's a relay.

What does that leave? A control unit or is there something else I can check?

Imma gonna call this fixed

I've replaced the ignition switch and locking mech (all as one unit)
I've read that Porsche don't sell the ignition switch on its own anymore, due to issues persisting because of the locking mech or in combination with. I don't know how often that happens, but I believe it's a bosch part that can be bought quite cheaply on its own if needed.

My locking mech was very sticky. When I took the key out, it would take a second or two to clunk. Once, when I hadn't driven the car for a few months, it got stuck completely (never clunked). The battery went flat, obviously.

Before I replaced the switch and mech, I was getting other intermittent problems, too.
It's possible the battery is going bad, and a voltage drop was causing those.
I've been driving the car a lot since I replaced the ignition, so it hasn't rested for more than a couple of days. If I leave it for, say, 4 days or more, I might see enough voltage drop to cause issues.

For completeness ... I did a couple of other things at the same time as changing the ignition switch and mech. I changed the steering wheel for a new one.
The old one's horn was very sensitive, and had just started sound on heavy braking. Embarrassing. It could only get worse and had to go.

Obviously I was messing around near wiring behind the dash, so the loom has been disturbed during the whole process, but I'm putting my money on the switch and mech replacement.


FYI: after taking the battery off for a while, the tail will still come up on the first start. Some sort of calibration I guess. Every time after something like that, it's behaved itself and not come up.
