I have read about Todd H's 3.8 and 3.6 Gen 1 boxster conversion. There are a couple of posts that are clear that you CAN put an updated cluster in a 986 gen 1 boxster 98 or later. So, why do I see this crap on your website that you can only put an early 996 cluster in a gen 1??? If that were the case you would never be able to put in a 996 3.6 or 3.8 motor or 3.8 997 motor into one these gen 1 boxsters. Can you please upgrade your Posts OR tell us why you won't. Konrad in LA

I am sorry you are upset about the information on the site. When the article was authored, this was current and correct. Without feedback or repeat procedures, we wouldn't know what or when to update. Thanks for the additional info. We appreciate it. I will have the article updated.
