Hi, I have a 2004 boxster that has the low beams programmed as the DRL's. Upon starting the car, both lights will come on but the drivers side will always go out shortly after. Sometimes it only lasts 5 minutes, other times it will stay on for 20-30 minutes. If I start the car up again, it will always come back on again, however. Any suggestions for what the problem might be? bulb? ballast? switch?

I would assume ballast. Try swapping parts from the working side to the non-working side to rule them out.
