Hi there, I'm a mechanic and I have a 2006 boxster S with 95k and a 2006 Cayman S with 75k. Both will get up to speed shifting correctly and then around 45 mph start unlocking then locking the torque converter. I've checked and it is not a command issue and my auto logic is not picking up any trans fault codes. Tried flushing the boxster trans but no difference. Can't find anything on the net about trans issues on these cars... Wonder if it's something in the valve body... Would really hate to throw a trans at both of them. Any help would be great!

if the torque converter solenoid is not being commanded on and off, you have to monitor the circuit current to see if is is holding or not. Once you confirm the solenoid is staying on, then you can suspect internals.
