Question 1128 & 1130 codes

Hi
I'm new here and have a new used 2002 Boxster Base with 140K
So far I have replaced plugs, MAF, Air/Oil Seperator, Water pump, coolant, oil, filter, oil filler cap , and air filter and it's now down to these two remaining codes.
I also have run two bottles of Techron through on two different occasions.
I am still getting the CEL and these two codes: 1128 & 1130
I have read a number of threads on these forums but there doesn't seem to be any consensus on what to do next to solve the issue.
1. Oxygen sensor?
2. Fuel cap?
3. Vacuum leak?
4. Fuel pressure?
5.Fuel injector?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

The factory manuals

Contain a flow chart with tests you perform as the action items and then depending on the results you follow the arrows and do the next test or the action. These go on for pages and some require special tools.

Code reader resets don't fix the underlying cause.

Most of these are vacuum leaks.

The reason there isn't a consensus is that there are multiple causes and some people are successful in tracing the problem, some take the car to an experienced M96 engine mechanic and few bother to post the results. Don't go throwing more parts at the problem.

Thanks Mike.
The really weird thing is that the light went off on its own (at least for now)
and now the airbag light is on!
Welcome to Porsche!

The airbag light is a well documented issue

Generally has to do with connections and not the expensive airbag itself.

Look here. https://sites.google.com/site/mikefocke2/airbagwarninglighttsb but also note that there are some very specific diagnostic codes that are available to someone who has access to the right diagnostic hardware and software. Something you can buy that would help diagnose the engine codes and the airbag codes is called Durametric and installs on a Windows laptop.

Going to try cleaning the contacts in the seat belt connector first and see what happens. Then I will need to get the light reset.
Weird thing is the CEL light is still off after I cleared 1128 and 1130.
I'm wondering how long until it comes back on.
This board is great, thank you!
