Purchased a filter and level sensor kit and pulled the tubes out of the tank. Is the black tube supposed to be attached to anything in the tank?

I don't recall hose colors and connection specifics as they apply to them. If you share a few photos I may be able to give some insight.

Good question. I was hoping that someone could help identify all the hoses and how they work between the filter and pump. Do the hoses from the filter go to the pump? How does it all set up in the tank?
