Fault code P1057
2009 Clubman base, N12 engine. Car has had a lot of parts replaced over the last 6 months, due to major neglect and parts failure. I bought the car wrecked and rebuilt it. (had about 6 grand in it over the last two years, but since January of this year, I'm already at around 4 grand). Anyway, water pump, thermostat housing, and the pipe that connects those in January, then the right side module (basically the fuse box) in March, then a major oil leak, ended up replacing oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, and oil pressure switch, the throttle body valve, plugs, coils, Alternator was replaced about a week and a half ago, along with the battery. Car was running ok, but did have hesitation on accelerating, and a slightly rough idle, that seemed to go away under acceleration. Parked it Saturday night. Went out Sunday afternoon, started fine, drove about 50 feet then had no 'gas pedal', and the yellow engine light with the 'half slash' thing in it came on. turned it around and parked. Checked codes with my little Autel reader. Got a "P1057 VVT Supply Voltage", a "P1062 Limp Home Request", and a "P115D Refer to Service Manual". I'm assuming from what I have found through researching this, I need the Variable Valve Timing Solenoid? I had a few people say I need an "Eccentric Shaft Actuator", but as I said, from what I found, that would bring up a different code wouldn't it? Just want to be sure, as I can't afford to be 'throwing dollars' at this car right now. Anyone?
