We have had three heater cores fail in our 2003 Mini S in the past year. All develop leaks. Have replaced with both factory and after market units. Same result. Is there a problem in the system causing these failures or just bad luck wit replacement parts?

Where are the units failing (leaking from)? Could be bad luck or electrolysis.
