Hello thanks for sharing your info. I have a 06 mini cooper s . The passenger front bumper signal light/ fog light is out i replaced bulb , but it did not fix the problem , the old bulb was intact as well.
I noticed though that when i pressed the remote to unlock it flashed so i started t use turn signal and it works when using turn signal but off when headlights are on. No corrosion on socket . Please help. Thank you

The lights function from inputs to the body control module (BCM), all lights are directly controlled (activated) by the BCM. The inputs will have to be checked using a MINI scan tool. Otherwise you can check the grounds to the sockets and confirm there are not shorts.
