There is nothing missing from the system. When I wrote the nothing happened I meant that the engine would not even turn over. I have since "jumped" the starter and the engine ran fine. I just cannot figure out why it will not turn over when I turn the ignition key. Could I be missing a ground somewhere? The only ground wire that I can see is on the passenger side engine mount. I have not done a diagnostic for codes yet because I need to get a code reader which I will do tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

OK, I didn't get that from your original message.
I would start by voltage drop testing the battery cable to the starter and the engine ground. If they are OK, check if the starter is getting a start signal. If it is not, the start may be blocked by immobiliser. At that point, a fault code with help guide you to the area of the failure. - Nick |
