Hey guys my name mauricio. And i have a 03 mini cooper. Ive notice this past few days that has been really cold, i have trouble going into gears. It gets really hard. Once the engine warms up the gears get smoother. I was told that it could be the shift cable or it could be that im low on transmission fluid. Any suggestions?

Could very well be sticky cables. Start by checking if the shift cables are binding. If not, check your trans fluid.
