Hello Nick.can you help me with a problem…
i own a R50 minicooper,2004.after having the alternator repaired, the steering wheel has become very stiff and difficult to turn.is this a question of the power-steering system or something else.Do i need to have the power-steering serviced.live in Bosnia and Herzagovine and wish to know if the global service is ok.the car has 148,000klm on the clock.thank you for your help.

I would check if the power steering pump is turning on. If not, check power and ground to the pump, if present, the pump could be faulty.
