I have a 2002 Mini Cooper installed mp3 cable and hooked up in the back of the plug just fine when I turn the radio on it will not work what do I need to do

Could be the module for in the input. There was a kit if I remember correctly to install this adapter. It came with a module. Give our parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.
