Knock sensor issue on R53 MINI

When the dreaded CEL (check engine light) comes on and the P code pulled reads an issue with your knock sensor, it may be time for a new sensor. Please make sure to do the proper diagnostic work to determine what your possible issue may be. You can check the wiring to make sure there is no damage, check the connection to make sure it's not loose, and you can test the sensor with a digital multimeter to see if itself is possibly bad.

I have seen associated P0326 Knock Sensor Circuit Voltage code with knock sensor issues.
