Hi,
I have a 2012 mini cooper and just tried to replace the fuel filter today...followed the necessary steps, like disconecting the battery, taking out the back seats, unscrewing the 10mm nuts and after removing the plate that should cover the filter right side there was nothing there, other than the fuel tank.. so this means that it doesn't have a fuel filter? or if the car does have a fuel filter, where is it? thanks for the help __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: MINI Cooper Fuel Pump and Filter Replacement (R50/R52/R53 2001-2006) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article |

Can you post some pictures for us by chance? From the image below, the red arrow shows where the fuel pump is located (driver back seat) and the purple arrow shows where the fuel filter is mounted in the fuel tank (passenger back seat).
