Well, No Follow up from Pelican. I went to Mini Dealer today, Talked to head Mini Tech. he said engine Needs to be running when checking level, no need to change out filter, just drain and change trans oil is a good idea.

Glad you got it worked out, we try to respond promptly, but there are always a lot of questions to get to.

The engine should be running after the initial fill, when topping up.

Once fluid flows out of inspection hole, start engine and allow to idle. add fluid until it runs out of inspection hole. Shift through gears. Check ATF temp using MINI scan tool, should be 95-113f. Top up until runs out, (once warm). reinstall fill plugs once full.
