I recently replaced my water pump on my 2004 R50, and after a few months, noticed small pools of coolant after driving. I think I have isolated the problem to the hose between the block & the pump. Since this hose is a bear to get at, can I use a different type of hose clamp or some type of sealant when I replace the hose?

Very common for the hose fitting plate and block-off plates on the block to leak. BUT that hose is definitely leaking as well. new hose clamps at the minimum. No sealant.
