So, I don't know if I'm blind or my model is different, but I don't see a hose on the top of my radiator nor can I find my intercooler reference fig 4. Is there somewhere else it would be? I have a stock 2004 r50.

If your engine is normally aspirated, it won;t have the intercooler. Thermostat is in same location.

Yes, R50's are not supercharged. Therefore, they do not require the extra cooling from an intercooler. This article was done on a Cooper S R53 so some steps may vary from yours.
