hi i have a 2007 cooper auto, it starts fine and runs for about ten seconds the starts to hunt and eventually cuts out at stand still.
you can drive the car for about 100 yeards then engine power dies off and you have to restart once again the same thing will happen after another 100 yards.
can you please give me an idea whats wrong.

Could be an issue with the fuel pump. I would perform a fuel delivery system test. Check fuel pressure, volume and quality.

Any fault codes present in the system? It's a Cooper non-s correct? Does sound fueling related.
