The spark plug broke & damage the valve of my Mini Cooper S. The warrant refuse to the claim, the reason for that is that they don't cover spark plugs. Can they refuse to pay the claim to fix the valve & is this my fault that the spark plug broke & damage the valve? Please assist if anybody has ever been in the same situation.

I don't know what your warranty covers. Ask for a copy of the warranty and review it for the covered items.

You have to really read over these extended warranties as a log of them do not replace items you think they do and that they tell you up front that they will. Look under engine components and make sure spark plugs isn't listed, as I'm not sure they would be as they're a wear item that often gets replaced x amount of miles. Good luck.
Next time, be sure to routinely replace them. We have info on that here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/MINI/07-ENGINE-Spark_Plugs_and_Cable_Replacement/07-ENGINE-Spark_Plugs_and_Cable_Replacement.htm |
