Hi I have a 2000 model mini ,rerecently took it for repairs only to find that there is assesive amount of soil in the petrol tank and we tried starting ,so how much damage can soil do to a petrol tank and engine

Likely to fuel pump and injectors, also the lines need to be flushed, tank replaced. Give The Pelican Parts parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.
