Hi, i think i should just improvise my question - i am just wondering is it possible that i could have screwed up the engine timing by simply rotating the crankshaft backwards probably 180 degrees when the timing chain and oil pump chains are both intact as before?
If not, then i should start looking at the wiring and compression etc.
Would really appreciate a quick answer.
Thanks-Shan

Yes, that can throw timing off if chain is loose.
