Alberta reunion...
![]() ![]() Had a good reunion with Wayne aka Wayner. He rode his BMW motorbike from Prince Albert Saskatchewan to Edmonton which was a six hour ride for him. During the morning while I waited for him I replaced the NC Miata's plastic coolant tank with a new shiny Moroso one. It was a warm morning being about 86F/30C and pulling off the rubber hoses which had been there for five years was a challenge. In the ensuing struggle I managed to drop a small hose clip into the bottom of the engine compartment. This whole scenario gave me fresh appreciation for you guys that do this work for a living. Also if you do this for a living do you have air conditioning(I don't do this for a living and don't have a/c)? It would make working on cars a lot more comfortable. Fortunately I was able to fish out the hose clip through the front grill with a coat hangar. I did not want to start the car till I extracted the hose clip for fear of breaking anything. Wayne arrived in the afternoon and we had a decent late lunch. We met again for breakfast and discussed many subjects. Wayne stayed at the guest suite of our condo building. The pic is of him in the parkade ready to go towards Calgary. We certainly did miss you Richard motion as it has been almost a year since you were through here on the way to Alaska with Wayne. Wayne left with a flourish and he did not unnoticed as he did a wheelie on 114 ave on his 600 pound motorbike. Thanks Wayne for taking the time to visit. Cheers, Guy ![]() |

So where next Wayne? I am heading off for golf this morning to meet my Irish golf partner. It is a golf course straight west of here in my Miata and takes about 45 minutes. Life is good.

Looks great there. Looks like BC somewhere maybe southern BC. Airbnb and a functional backyard. An enviable lifestyle.

It is a little big. Goes off jumps which is cool
Falls well. Doesn’t pick up so easy though

Wayne = Had no idea you were around Calgary on your bike??? I've been there a week and rode the 630 miles home today....Yesterday, did a loop over Highwood Pass (7,200 ft) and up Hwy 742 to Canmore and back to Calgary........Let me know if you make it to central WA state....._

Tired bike! Lying down...
Sorry I missed you when you were here. You were moving too fast and it was hard to get the crosshairs on you.... ![]() ![]()
