You ever watch a movie that messed up that night’s sleep?

I’m trying to stay couch bound from my injuries. I’m catching up on TV.

Last night a title caught my eye. I watched it. It was okay, but thought provoking. Enough that I had it running thru my head all night. I barely slept.

It’s rare that a movie will do that to me.

I watched “HOW IT ENDS’ on Netflix. One of those SHTF movies.

Man, I need to get more ammo and batteries!

'Manhunter', the pre 'Silence of the Lambs' movie.

"Dream much, Will?"

Getting caught up in sporting events can keep me wound up at night.

I loved that one. M. Night Shamalayan is a seriously underrated director. Great movie.

I got freaked out by “Serpent and the Rainbow”. I have a serious fear of being buried alive - no way I ever want to spelunk or go underground in general. Just a phobia but that one was all about it (Haitian voodoo including burying “dead” people in drug-induced stasis so they could be (hopefully) dug up later and used as drugged-up zombies under control of the voodoo practitioner. All based in real practices to some extent too - freaky.

Shutter Island

I read Dennis LeHane's book first, then rented the movie version with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Didn't sleep a wink the night I watched the DVD.

For me it's "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer". Very disturbing.

Too close to reality. “It could happen again, as opposed to it could happen someday.

I still remember being upset after watching “old Yeller” when I was about 5 years old.
