Musk actually said he never smokes pot because he finds it counter productive. I found the interview interesting and felt it was a great one. It was interesting to see him ponder a response before opening his mouth. This, however broke my heart, then they both had the audacity to say it was good whiskey. How could they tell? https://photos.smugmug.com/General-P...-GSTCbNj-L.jpg |
Regardless of whether or not his appearance on Rogan's show is a sign of a meltdown, it certainly gives the appearance of a meltdown. I'm kind of surprised that there hasn't been public calls for his head.

Its funny reading about how all the engineers on this board are just jealous the guy is 100x times smarter and richer than all of you. On top of that the fear is palpable. It seems about every engineer here is connected to the gas/oil/frakking industry and they are hoping that Musk fails because he is a threat to your bottom line. If he succeeds with Tesla, or any of his companies it could put quite a few pelicans out of work.
Whether Musk improves SpaceX, Telsa, hyperloops, self driving trucks and cars or gets fired it doesn't really matter in the bigger picture. We are stuck in preordained destiny and these various companies are going to exist with or without him. If Musk were to get canned somebody else will take his place and pick up where he left off. Electric cars and trucks are not going away, self driving vehicles are a matter of when, not if. Gas powered cars are going to be extinct probably in California in less then 20 years. No wonder why Wayne sold this place, there is no future in selling 911 parts to boomers who won't be around too much longer. If Zuckerberg didn't create a Facebook somebody else would have. If Musk didn't force all of car companies to go electric and self driving somebody else would have. This progressive technology train can't be stopped. |

Musk is a con artist who is playing the American public and financing his follies with Taxpayer's money. If his stuff is any good, why does he need so many tax subsidies and free guaranteed loans? If he can be successful WITHOUT STEALING MY MONEY then more power to him. It's easy to fool a fool. |

He assumed we're all engineers here is quite the comical stereotype. He needs to get some sleep and stop self medicating... |
I just finished it, saw it in three sessions.
The comments section on Youtube is spot on. Long and slow video but enjoyable. Thanks to Aurel for posting it. |

August 2 was so long ago. You'd think Kach would know that......
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-09-18/tesla-is-said-to-face-u-s-criminal-probe-over-musk-statements |
The ONLY reason tesla isn't bankrupt is because of guaranteed gubmint loans, tax subsidies and kickbacks to help pay for their cars, and the biggie ........
free carbon credits. The gubmint of kalifornia gives tesla free carbon credits. Lots of em. At the same time, that same gubmint tells other companies that they need to have a whole bunch of carbon credits to stay in biddness that the gubmint does NOT give them. But they can BUY credits from other companies .......... like TESLA. The gubmint gives tesla free carbon credits, which tesla sells to other companies for hundreds of millions of dollars. And who pays the price for this idiocy? Why we do, thank you very much. Let them stand on their own, let them compete on level playing field without being propped up with my taxes, and I'll support them 100%. But as long as tesla is conning the gubmint and the taxpayers, I'll continue to expose the truth about them. |
