Reports from the Whitehouse are that they "are not prepared to state that he has been captured" but interestingly enough Bush Press Sec. Ari Fleischer cancelled his scheduled morning briefing creating speculation that they wanted the news broken this evening by the President. That would be great news and a much needed positive step forward for the country....let's hope there is some truth to it.

I doubt it. Would be nice, but I wouldn't break out the party hats. They'd need several days to make sure they identified the guy. There is no way they'd make an announcement like that unless they'd given him a vivisection or otherwise ensured it's really him.

The question here is what would we do if we actually had him in US custody? Would he be hanged? life imprisonment?
Me personally, I say we throw him in a hole and bust out Papillon style on him. Limited rations, no sunlight, but if he starts to die, we keep him alaive at all costs. it is a worse fate for him to live than to die. I hope it's true. |

ABC News radio just reported it is believed if he is not in custody he is about to be. For the last two days special forces have been dropping in to an area in Pakistan and conducting raids. I can't see him letting himself be captured alive, unless ofcourse he is a true coward...probably the case.

In Guantamo Bay...... they have what amounts to a dog kennel to keep Al Queada prisoners in. Ten of them have tried to commit suicide. Think about spending the rest of your life in a dog kennel.
Momhad has been reported to be in Afganistan.... the USA has probably transfered custody of him to a friendly Arab country who is counseling him on the benfits of divulging everything he knows. Or are our interogation techniques so sophisicated that we can get them to sing like birds with very little corecion. That I don't know? By the looks of things it appears I was wrong about where ole Bin Laden is hiding out....I do hope they get him......and parade him through the streeets of NYC like the Romans of old would their prized prisoners....in chains.... But the Govenment would never let him set foot in the USA...to many laws and Johnny Cocran would be his Attorney......Where were you Osma when the WTC went down......BL Answer, "I was out golfing with my old friend OJ."
