Buick Hot Rod, just finished

First run today

My friend did a nice job, I think, and it runs just like a Buick should.

Can you post a video/audio of how that bad boy sounds?

Not what I would drive but respect the work and dedication of craft.

I can't help imagine this with a wood grain wrap on the spokes of the wheels.

Very cool hot rod.

That's a pretty good color for that car. Gives it a level of sophistication, and since it's a Buick, it makes sense..if you get a chance, snap a shot from the side?

I really like it too! So much originality still there.
Nice choice on the colors, and the metal finishes are great. Neat seeing the original bumpers looking so good.
The wheels are not what I'd have chosen, some six spoke wheels with wood grain look on the spokes as mentioned would set it off nicely.

But that's just me.

It's very nice. What is the running gear?

Cheers Richard

I don't mind the wheels, reminiscent of spoked wheels but, cleaning them is the bad part. And I would like to hear it has a Buick in it.

For some reason it looks like 5 bolts fronts and 6 bolt rears, or I'm seeing double.

Being a native of SoCal I can't get behind that look much, but it is a nice car. Bring it out here and it will get "Foosed" which isn't always good. We're just different out here.

Did anyone notice the suspension change?

I was thinking of this old thread here....

I seem to recall that there was more to the Buick than this, tho... People asking him to not 'rod' the car...
