It should have happened long ago. A murder is killed. Good riddance.

Didn't even make it one day after the transfer, for sure pre-planned.
I'm not losing any sleep but at 89, it's not like he was robbed of his best years. Maybe the families can try and move on now. |

Trivia
Jack Nicholson’s character in "The Departed" is based on infamous Boston mob boss and FBI informant Whitey Bulger. Before he was captured in 2011, he was the second only to Osama bin Laden on the FBI’s Most Wanted List and had a reward for $1 million for his capture. |

I know a guy whose father was killed by Bulger's bunch of *******s. As bad as that was, what's really bad is how many corrupt FBI agents were involved with his gang.

Oh well, good riddance. Black Mass was a pretty good movie about him though.

So he's dead but how can they live that life. I've never understood it.
Imagine waking up every morning and thinking this could be the day.

What did he do to get involved with them, or was it that he wouldn't get involved, or stood up to them, or tried to get uninvolved, or just wrong place at the wrong time?

He finally got his but it sure took long enough. 89 is more than a full life.

He bought some jai alai courts and they were stealing from the concessions. You ought to read about it. Ex-FBI agents were on the take, the FBI knew who killed him but didn't tell the Tulsa cops, the bank that financed the deal had crooked people on the inside running things, the FBI used Bulger as an informant for years, all the while knowing that he's committing all sorts of crimes. It was a mess and it gives you a bad taste for the integrity of the FBI, if you have any respect left for them after their recent crap. The guy's name was Roger Wheeler.

I'd be willing to bet money that all of the corrupt FBI agents are comfortably retired on a pension that we paid for.

I'd be willing to bet that someone (politician, law enforcement, maybe judge) was paid off to move ole whitey and set him up for this.
