Arlo lived next door to one of my wife's co-workers. He got locked out of his house and she would not let him use the phone...
And I used to drive by the church every time I went to Great Barrington. And Alice's was closed by a long time, but she ran a different restaurant, in Lenox...

When I was 16 I worked at the Woods theater, downtown Chicago. I saw that movie about 100 times. Alices Restaurant still makes me smile.
