Frickin Ca Fires! AHHHH! Another Evacuation Order

Here we go again! I can't wait to get out of this state. I smelled the smoke earlier. My phone just went off. Another "Prepare to Evacuate" notice. Thousand Oaks fire raging up the hill.

PTSD snaps and kills 12 people one day, the place is on fire the next. Jeeez.

Thanks Hugh. I appreciate that. I know you're no stranger to fires.

My daughter lives in Moorpark. She has an extra room and is Tank tolerant. So far its pushing NW with the winds. Its actually further away now than it was two hours ago.

We still have a few weeks until end of hurricane season....fingers and toes crossed.

So far our area in Florida has been spared. After the past 2 years we need at least 1 year off!

It's pretty old, my only surprise is it's taken this long to show up here with all the Californians living in California hating where they live. Must be hell for them. I've never seen so many people hate where they live.

My brother hates KS too. I love where I live. Having lived in CT, MN, TX, Chicago, NYC and MA, only place I've hated living is TX. What a ****hole that state is. Lasted 1 year. Life's too short to hate where you live.

At 3am we got the evacuation alarms. 75,000 homes evacuated. 30 homes down already. Even Kansas is sounding good to me right now.

I have 70 lbs of various gunpowders and 55 gl of 110 octane race gas in my Mancave. If my house goes, its gonna look like Hiroshima

Thanks. Right now the high winds are blowing the fire away from us toward Malibu, but it's a scary spectacular view from my house. I think Vipergrun my be in trouble though. Anybody heard from him?
