Yep, she sees how many miles that she can run on a tank, and lets me use her car with the fuel light lit up when I start it. She once complained that I was getting gas, when there "Is obviously another 50 miles in the tank" !

I fill up at 1/4 tank, and sometimes sooner.

I grew up away from urban life.

I have the same problem.

I flat out do not back the big cat into parking spots. I'll make attempts from the 944 or Corvette.

The nice thing about the 944 is compared in size to modern cars, it is small enough tat even badly parked there is still plenty of room on both sides.

Well, at least a small car is easier to push.

Feel that it's perfectly OK to just start chit-chatting with me no matter what else I might be doing at the time...reading, watching a movie, or concentrating on some task at hand? And if I try to say that I'm busy right now, I get the "Why should that be more important than me?" routine.

My wife did that when we first married but I broke her of it.

I asked her what she was going to do when the big one hit and she was stranded somewhere because she was out of gas and none of the stations were operating?

Now she rarely gets under 1/4 tank.

Mine too! I can be walking from the bathroom back toward the garage at high speed and as I go by she starts a conversation as if I'm sitting next to her on the couch. I have to throw on the brakes and say "what honey".
