Amazing - I can't imagine the hours it took to create this.

That is amazing! I used to make scale models as a kid and this is truly a whole new level.

Meh. The panel gaps are off a bit.

It's a mid-60's Dodge truck - inconsistent panel gap adds to the realism.

I saw about 15 seconds of video. Then it started jumping around to "buy this" etc. So actually what happened? Is there a link where I can see the actual video? Looks interesting.

All I did was clicked the arrow on the embedded link of the OP and watched. I don't know why you might be experiencing issues.

Many (40) years ago I worked for Bechtel Power Corp as a proofreader on nuclear power-plant startup documents for the Standard Nuclear Unit Power Plant (SNUPPS) project. I had to interface a lot with the model shop----OK, I really just hung around there a lot. Their job was to build an exact replica of the nuclear plant we were designing in 1/12 scale. From that, they would shoot pictures that they would include with the drawings that were sent to the field. It was an incredibly time-consuming and exacting job, with a whole shop full of master model-makers.
I suspect a guy with a laptop computer and the skills this guy has could do most of what it took that whole team months to do. |

You guys might have paid a bit more attention. The "guy" that has those mad skills is a gal.
And yes, she does indeed have mad skills and better control over an Exacto knife than I. Impressive. Best Les

This is still my favorite, done without computers or 3D printers.

It sounds like she was doing this during a wind storm (noticeable at 13:00), and her heartbeat at 20:00, while the purring cat was in the 28:00 minute range.
Mad skills doesn't even start to describe the patience, and steadiness that she displayed.....WOW ! |

Obviously, the Ferrari guy’s work is Rain Man level but how much more expensive could it have been to have just done the thing in 1:1 and died having owned and driven his dream?
